BeatOps extracts metadata (title, BPM, key, artists) from your audio file names. Just name your files using one of the patterns below and BeatOps handles the rest.
Filename Patterns
Pattern 1 (Recommended)
Title - BPM - Key - Artist1 x Artist2.wav
Example: Heaven - 140 - Cm - Drake x Metro Boomin.wav
This pattern includes all metadata in the filename for instant detection.
Pattern 2 (Parentheses)
Title (Artist1 x Artist2 Type Beat).wav
Example: Heaven (Drake x Metro Boomin Type Beat).wav
Pattern 3 (Type Beat First)
Artist1 x Artist2 Type Beat - Title.wav
Example: Drake x Metro Boomin Type Beat - Heaven.wav
Note: Patterns 2 and 3 don't include BPM or key in the filename. BeatOps can detect these automatically using audio analysis.
Extracted Fields
- Title - The name of your beat
- BPM - Tempo in beats per minute (valid range: 40-250)
- Key - Musical key (e.g., Cm, F# Minor, Ab Major)
- Artists - Reference artists, separated by "x"
Sample Info
You can optionally include sample information using square brackets in your filename. BeatOps will extract the sample artist and title separately.
Example: Heaven - 140 - Cm - Drake x Metro Boomin [Adele - Hello].wav
