A free mod for the MPC Sample. The goal: more quality of life, with a workflow that is fast, simple and intuitive. It runs from the SD card and does not flash the device.

This is a beta. Back up your projects first. When a project does not load correctly, the MPC can delete samples that only SampQOL OS uses. The project safety net keeps a copy, but a backup is always safer.
Tested only with MPC Sample firmware 1.3.0 (full version number 1.3.0.12). MPC One, Live and X are not tested yet. Do not update the MPC firmware: SampQOL OS will probably not work on a newer version.
autorun onto a microSD card (exFAT). Eject the card.Update: replace the folder autorun. Your settings stay.
The mod does not flash the MPC. It runs from the card and only lives in memory. Start without the card, and the MPC is stock. To use the card on stock, rename the autorun folder (for example to autorun-off), or move it into a different folder on the card. To stop for good, delete the autorun folder from the card.

This firmware is incredible. I've been playing around with it for two days. It offers so much more than I would have ever expected. The 16 tracks, the EQ, the grid view, the mixer, 128 sample chops, MIDI keyboard support with scales and chords 🤯 and so much more, it’s crazy!
