BeatOps uploads your beats directly to SoundCloud using the official API.
You need SoundCloud Pro Unlimited to upload. Since September 2026, SoundCloud requires an active Pro Unlimited subscription to upload through the API. Without it, uploads fail with a "403 - Pro Unlimited required" error. Connecting your account still works on any plan, but the upload itself needs Pro Unlimited. See SoundCloud's plan comparison.
How to Connect
- Go to Settings
Open BeatOps and navigate to Settings. - Find SoundCloud
Locate the SoundCloud section under platform connections. - Click Connect
A browser window will open for SoundCloud authorization. - Log in to SoundCloud
Enter your SoundCloud credentials. - Authorize BeatOps
Grant BeatOps permission to upload on your behalf.
That is all it takes. If you would rather run uploads through your own SoundCloud app, see the SoundCloud Setup guide.
What Gets Uploaded
- Audio: Your WAV file (preferred) or MP3
- Artwork: Square image (1080x1080)
- Title: Beat title
- Description: From your SoundCloud description template
- Tags: Genre and mood tags
Token Refresh
SoundCloud tokens expire after about an hour. BeatOps automatically refreshes your token before uploads, so you stay connected.
If you see persistent token expiration errors, disconnect and reconnect your account in Settings.
